Vicki is an experienced aged care worker specialising in residential care, with deep professional and lived experience in dementia support.
About Vicki
Vicki holds a Certificate III in Home and Community Care and Aged Care, and a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health. She currently supports clients in a government-funded Transitional Care Program, helping people over 65 in their rehabilitation journey after hospital discharge.
She brings lived experience as the carer for her 95-year-old mother, who lives with Alzheimer's disease. Her additional training includes Understanding Dementia and Preventing Dementia through the University of Tasmania.
Vicki combines professional and lived experience in supporting people with Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia and Parkinson's disease, with a strong focus on person-centred care and quality of life.
