Christine provides culturally safe intake, advocacy and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our local area.
About Christine
As an intake contact and community Elder, Christine brings extensive industry experience and deep cultural knowledge. She makes sure Aboriginal-specific needs are identified, respected and addressed the right way.
Her work is strongly informed by her own lived experience of a personal mental health journey. That experience strengthens her empathy, insight and ability to connect meaningfully with community members.
Christine is deeply passionate about supporting Elders and people of Indigenous descent. She advocates for culturally responsive services and better access to health, disability and social supports, promoting healing, dignity and self-determination.
